Amongst many other roles he played Lord Cutler Bucket in two Pirates of the Caribbean movies, George V in BBC’s award-winning The Lost Prince and Guy Burgess in Cambridge Spies.

James Wood wrote BBC Two’s critically acclaimed comedy series Freezing starring Hugh Bonneville, Tom Hollander and Elizabeth McGovern. He co-created Rev. with Tom Hollander and has written five of the six episodes.
